Mask Topeng Merak Prada Batik Wall Décor (small)

This slightly smaller magnificent Wall Decor is a mask, made of hand carved wood with intricately hand dye-painted and colorful Indonesian Batik motif, and inlaid with gold (prada).

The mask is carved and painted by a highly skilled artisan in Indonesia. The mask depicts a Peacock a deer or Merak in the Indonesian language “Bahasa”. The mask will enhance any living room decor, bedroom decor, kitchen decor, hallway. decor or office decor.

Topeng means mask or dance mask and mask-theater.

Merak is Indonesian for Peacock.

Batik relates to the artwork and the ancient Indonesian Javanese philosophies of life also the artwork used in textiles and artisan woodcarving.
